Solution

The unknown replication package on the replication target is created when replication action is created on the replication source, but never been sync before.

Follow the steps below to destroy the unknown replication on the target.

repl_target:> shares replication sources select source-000
repl_target:shares (pool2) replication source-000> ls
Properties:
  name = repl_source
  ip_address = 10.0.0.1:216
  asn = 402af13e-243f-caf7-ab16-bcb618b9a1b3

Packages:

  PROJECT STATE LAST UPDATE
package-000 idle unknown
package-001 idle unknown
package-002 idle unknown
package-003 idle unknown
package-004 idle unknown
package-005 idle unknown
package-006 idle unknown
package-007 replitest001 idle Tue Oct 11 2016 01:20:02 GMT+0000 (UTC)

repl_target:shares (pool2) replication source-000> destroy package-000
Destroying this package will cancel any ongoing replication updates from the
source appliance and permanently sever the replication connection for this
package. All data received as part of this package will be permanently
destroyed.

Are you sure? (Y/N)
repl_target:shares (pool2) replication source-000> ls

  ip_address = 10.0.0.1:216

package-002 idle unknown
package-003 idle unknown
package-004 idle unknown
package-005 idle unknown
