Goal
Can i power off the SL500 from SLConsole ?
Solution
No, this is not possible. The library controller can be rebooted from SLC (Diagnostics > Reboot) but the library cannot be shutdown.
To power off the library use the white rocker switch on the rear of the library, or if you have 'service' access to the CLI (only available to Oracle engineers and partner engineers), use the the 'shutdown' CLI command. N.B. This command is not available under the 'admin' user.
