Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Hardware) - Version EAGLE 3x.x and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

SSH, FTP and TELNET are currently open for the Eagle.
What is the impact of having them closed ?

Solution

You need Telnet for the remote connection to the Eagle thru the IPSM cards.
You need FTP for the measurements platform which sends the measurements to one of your FTP servers.
You need SSH if you want to have a secured IP connection with the IPSM cards or if you want to transfer the measurements file to your ftp server using SFTP instead of FTP.
