DISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR INSTRUCTIONS: WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY?: WHAT ACTION DOES THE FIELD ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR NEED TO TAKE?: 1. The DE3-24C and the DE3-24P use the same IOM module . 2 The IOM boards are hot-swappable if optimal and multi-pathed. If performing online 3. Verify the IOM module to the replaced. Verify the faulted module is the same as the one identified in the SR. If not, check if the other IOM on the JBOD is online. 4. Remove the IOM module using the Insert/Eject lever in the center of the IOM Board. 5. Record the location of the cables connected to the IOM and remove them from the old IOM 6. Attach the cables to the new IOM before fully inserting . 7. Fully Insert the new IOM module using the insert/Eject Lever . OBTAIN CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE Verify that all components are optimal and Two paths are seen for the disk shelf PARTS NOTE: 7318548 [CRU] - 12Gbps SAS-3 I/O Controller Module
