Goal
SL8500/SL3000 How to get log snapshot from the library using SSH and CLI only.
Solution
- SSH to the library management port(2B) using user: service
- Generate a log snapshot using CLI command: log snapShot all.
- Wait for it to complete, and exit back to your server shell.
- SCP to the library and pull the logs using command(change the IP): scp service@10.160.130.23:/usr/local/log/* .
- It will ask you the service password, and then copy the file to your current directory.
