Goal

Currently the IPSM ports are configured as 100 Full Duplex Non-auto-negotiate but the connected switch ports are set to Half-duplex, 100Mb/s, link type is auto, media type is 10/100/1000-TX

I am seeing collisions over this interface.
Can you please advise whether there is likely to be a problem if we set the switch ports to match the IPSM ports?

Solution

The settings should match on both sides i.e. card and the switch.
You should have FULL/100 Auto Negotiate on both sides.
OR:
HALF/100 Auto-Negotiate on both sides.
