While executing APPENDIX I. PROCEDURE TO CREATE OCEEMS SSL CERTIFICATE
Received the this message:

Authentication failed for this User "root". Cannot display encrypted password.
Please contact Oracle product support group.

Here are the details:

Solution

There are following root users:
1. System root user
2. GUI root user
3. Mysql root user
Here You need to provide for user root that is for the GUI login.

There is already a default root password for GUI which is same as Mysql Default password.
The point should be clear that for updating the SSH certificate; we need the GUI root password.
The requirement for SSH certificate update is for access to E5MS GUI.
In this case; (and usually with all new installations) the Mysql and GUI root passwords are same default passwords. So it worked for you. But in working environments; if customers change the default passwords (which is strongly recommended) you should use the E5MS GUI root password in this procedure.
