Goal
Oracle introduces support for particular encryption endpoints across OKM releases. This knowledge article provides tables of encryption endpoints and those OKM releases against which they have been tested.
Solution
Tape Drives
When support is introduced for a new type of tape drive, it is tested against the latest OKM release (or one planned to release soon). Typically new tape drive models will also be tested against some (more recent) earlier OKM releases. However, the tape drives are not officially tested against all previous OKM releases.

Other Encryption Endpoints
When support is introduced for a new type of encryption, it is tested against the latest OKM release (or one planned to release soon). Typically encryption endpoints will also be tested against some (more recent) earlier OKM releases. However, unlike tape drives, these encryption endpoints have minimum OKM release requirements, as noted below.
