Goal
We need an information related to AdventNet-WebNMS-MIBs. Hp is developing toolkit and asking if the AdventNet-WebNMS-MIB is still in use?
Solution
In order to configure NBI for traps received by E5MS; please use the MIB files as described in E5MS Customer documentation:
The Management information base (MIB) varbinds for SNMP traps forwarded to Northbound's are as follows,
•alertTime - timestamp when E5-MS system received the event for the managed sub-domain.
•alertResourceName - provides the source of the alert in a human readable form.
•alertSubResourceName - provides the sub-source of the alert in a human readable form.
•alertSeverity - defines severity of the alert.
•alertAcknowledgeMode - indicates whether the alert is acknowledged or not.
•alertTextMessage - the message body of the alert.
•alertSequenceNumber - incrementing sequence number allowing NMS to determine if an event has been missed.
Kindly refer E5MS R46 documentation Interface user's Guide Chapter 13 Northbound Interface for more information.
