Goal
There is a request about Protection against unauthorized use of network resources. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to provide different access levels and permissions. In particular Identify services that should be running, or failing that suggest limiting any service that is not part of the purpose of the application.
Solution
RBAC (Role Based Access Control) speaks of having authorization logic external to the application, which there is not any such interface or software in the EPAP world. EPAP does maintain user account access control. The customer can provision userIDs (accounts) and specify lots of different access rules for that userID. Things they are allowed to do. Things they are not allowed to do. As well we do not have a list of services that can or cannot be stopped with or without affecting the equipment. Right now there are no services that should be stopped without consulting technical support first and why you would want to stop a service.
