Solution

Apply this workaround only if the MP is using DSR function.
The function can be checked from Main Menu --> Configuration --> Server Groups screen.

Procedure:

  1. Disable all diameter connections using Main Menu --> Diameter --> Maintenance --> Connections screen.
  2. Mark the MP as OOS by updating the "Max Allowed HA Role" to OOS from the Main Menu --> Status & Manage --> HA screen.
  3. Execute this command on the MP SSH command line:
    /usr/TKLC/dsr/bin/optimizeComcolIdbRamUsage
  4. Bring MP in service.
  5. Enable all the diameter connections.
The workaround shall not be applied if the function used by MP is SBR or PSBR.
