Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Hardware) - Version EAGLE 45.0 and later
Tekelec

Goal

We need to use the incoming OPC as a parameter for the GT translation.
As per our understanding OBSR (Origin-based SCCP Routing) should allow the GT translation based on incoming parameters.
Would you please indicate how can we use/configure this feature?

Solution

Below are the possible commands that will be required to be run.

May need to test this in lab first.

Further details about the commands can be seen in Eagle STP Customer Documentation >> Commands Manual. You can download the command manual from following link:

http://docs.oracle.com/en/industries/communications/eagle/index.html

Activate Feature

         enable-ctrl-feat :partnum= 893014301 :fak= xxxxxxxx [get FAK from your account manager]
         chg-ctrl-feat :partnum= 893014301 :status= on

Create a New GTT Set

         ent-gttset :gttsn= :netdom= <itu/ansi>:settype=opc
         ent-gttset :gttsn=test1 :netdom=itu :settype=opc

Create a New GTA Entries for GTTSET

         ent-gta:opc(n/i)=:gttsn=test1:.................................

Modify CdPA GTA Tables to Link to OPC tables

         chg-gta :gta= :gttsn= :cggtasn= -> Depending on release
         chg-gta :gta= :gttsn= :optsn= -> Depending on release
         Note, depending on running release the parameter will be either cggtasn or optsn

Change incoming Linkset to use OBSR

         chg-ls :lsn= :gttmode=
         For OBSR we use acdcd as GTT mode
