The minicom access is a serial access to the Server which would be very useful to perform server reboot or Maintenance activities like hardware replacement or upgrade.
Login to EPAP A server as root user As root user, >remoteConsole --query //This command provides output of pre-configured or existing minicom connection names. Note down the minicom connection name. Sample Output: ====================================== [root@mps-3037-a ~]# remoteConsole --query ======================================
>minicom mate //This command initiate serial access to mate server i.e EPAP B server. once you get minicom screen press enter key to get the login prompt.
Sample Output =========================================== [root@mps-3037-a ~]# minicom mate
Welcome to minicom 2.00.0 OPTIONS: History Buffer, F-key Macros, Search History Buffer, I18n Press CTRL-A Z for help on special keys
mps-3032-b login: ===========================================
Once logged into EPAP B server as root user. The serial access is enabled and other user cant access minicom until the existing minicom connection is terminated.
To Exit from the Minicom connection Press Ctrl+A Q(Pess Ctrl key and Alphabet A key at a time and after press Q key) to get option "Leave without reset?"
Sample Output: ============================================================ Hit Enter Key once you get below option to exist minicom without reset

The same procedure can be followed to minicom EPAP A server via EPAP B server as followed.
Login to EPAP B server as root user and execute minicom mate,
As root user, [root@mps-3057-b ~]# minicom mate
The remaining steps is same as shared above.
