Applies to:

Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 10.1.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Sometimes when the user is Activating or De-Activating datafeeds in NSP Datafeed application, the Status will not reflect it.

For example when de-activating, the Status will be stuck at "stopping" instead of "Not Exporting", what is the cause of this issue and how to fix it ?

Solution

NSP Datafeed application is querying the DataExport process on IXP servers in order to be able to report a correct status and to stop/start the datafeeds.

If NSP Datafeed does not report a correct status, make sure that DataExport process is running properly, eventually restart it with the following commands as cfguser:

  1. Stop process:
    pm.set off DataExport
  2. Wait 30s
  3. Start process:
    pm.set on DataExport
