Goal

While importing a ProTrace zip export file, application is asking for many information about the dictionary properties:

  • Dictionary name
  • Dictionary types
  • Available protocols
  • Available stacks
  • Dictionary Version

How to fill them and why is it asked?

Solution

Zip file comes from a session view export.

Because of session view limitations, zip file does not contain dictionary information from exported session view, thus all informations must be entered manually once.

To ensure information are corrects, it must be compared to the exported session view dictionary information.
