Applies to:

Oracle Communications EAGLE (Hardware) - Version LSMS 13.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Bin logs become out of sync after NPAC MTC window.

Solution

It was found that customer was running a SMURF script on Standby LSMS, which was making the DB table entry different between Active and Standby. The data gets synched from Active to Standby only, not the other way.

Any utility which makes changes in DB tables, MUST be run on Active LSMS server so that both the LSMS are in sync after data synchronization.
