Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

 Verify proper setup and service availability  for the Oracle Engineered Systems Hardware Manager (OESHM) on Oracle SuperCluster M7.

Solution

1) Verify the ESHM smf service is started in the global zone of the primary (control) domain of the first PDom if not start it .
If it will not start please proceed immediately to the SRDC <Document 2133353.1>

  

# svcs -a |grep eshm
offline* Apr_27 svc:/application/management/eshm/osc:default
# svcadm enable svc:/application/management/eshm/osc:default
# svcs -a |grep eshm
online* Apr_27 svc:/application/management/eshm/osc:default

  

2) Verify connectivity to the ESHM BUI interface .
If you can not connect please proceed immediately to the SRDC <Document 2133353.1>

3) Please review the documentation and verify proper configuration and username password setup.
