Goal

Process to Re-Certify SL24 or SL48 Library.

Solution

There is no specific documentation on this but there a "Wellness Test" that is described in the User's and Service Guide here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E25510_01/index.html

The wellness test would be more for the library.

For the HP LTO drives in the library you should use a known good tape and run the "LTO Drive Assessment Test" from the HP LTT tool.
