Created from <SR 3-12512497196> Applies to:Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 10.1.5 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform. GoalWhy the the ASM installation is failing with the following error in the installation log file? [FATAL] [INS-30510] Insufficient number of ASM disks selected.
CAUSE: The number of disks selected were insufficient for the selected redundancy level. ACTION: For a disk group with redundancy level 'Normal', at least '2' disks are recommended. SolutionBecause redundancy level is set to normal (oracle.install.asm.diskGroup.redundancy=NORMAL), so this is is introducing a software RAID layer.
