Goal

Customer query: Seeking advice on whether it’s possible to set up audit logging specific to ZFS appliance shares?

Obviously there are logs specific to the ZFS appliances (ie. Fault, Alert, System, Audit) but are there any audit logs specific to ZFS exports/shares that capture user level activity?

Solution

This is not available at this time.

There is an RFE to have this functionality.
