In this Document
Created from <SR 3-12391862093> Applies to:Oracle FS1-2 Flash Storage System - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]Information in this document applies to any platform. GoalWhile WebEx is Oracle's preferred utility for remote collaboration, this document explains how to initiate and connect to a shared shell session for Flash Storage System for those instances where WebEx is not a viable option. SolutionOracle Shared Shell is a collaborative service tool that allows you to retain participant access and control while Oracle Support Services Engineers remotely view and diagnose Sun systems. This Java-based application provides secure, remote access to a terminal session that is shared simultaneously by customers and support services engineers. The end user controls who participates and who has access to the remote session. Please note that shared shell only gives access to Flash Storage System from a local laptop/computer, pointing to the Pilot Shared IP address.
Initiate and connect to a shared shell session:
Note: Shared Shell cannot establish an ssh connection to an OSX 10.11 (El Capitan)
