Goal

Association names are more meaningful than abstract names like SCTP0, SCTP1 etc. This document describes the steps that are needed to achieve it.

Solution

Create /usr/TKLC/TKLCixp/prod/lib/plugins/build/SCTPPathNaming.cnf on each IXP base server and fill it as per xDR_Builder Users Manual (909-2263-01).

Find references of PIC 10.1.0 and PIC 10.1.5 documentation below.

Despite what is written in the documentation, line with link name longer than 8 characters will be ignored, not truncated.

 

Make sure also the file has the appropriate rights and ownership
