Goal

Upgraded media slots on library but ACSLS was not updated.

How to update ACSLS slots.

Solution

Verify the ACSLS version with following command:
in_get_version

Verify the free cells from following command:
free_cells.sh –a

Command output:
ACS 0

Total free cells = 599
Allocated cells = 69
Total cells = 668

Enter the tapes from the CAP.
In the case that the CAP status is automatic, no command is required from ACSLS. Automatically the library will take the tapes.
In the case that the CAP status is manual, use the enter command to insert the tapes.

Verify the free_cells.sh –a command output

Nothing to do with ACSLS , in ACSLS software side it will take automatically.
