Goal
Reporting Studio doesn't work on all E5-MS servers
Solution
The steps to be performed on each site are:
- Install VNC Server on the system
- Open VNC Server session on system e.g. vncserver :66
- Once the vncserver is started, stop the i-net clear reports in /usr/local/i-net Clear Reports
./stopListener.sh
- Set display to the vncserver
DISPLAY=:66
- export the DISPLAY variable
export DISPLAY
- Start the standalone configuration program from Clear Reports directory.
/usr/local/i-net Clear Reports
- Create a new Default configuration using the information from the Reporting Studio Upgrade/Installation Guide for the settings needed for i-net Clear reports.
- Exit the configuration program and start the listener
./startListener.sh
