Goal
How to configure SNMP traps to be sent to external system?
Solution
Simple configuration
- Connect on NSP Weblogic1 as root
- Open platcfg menu:
su - platcfg
- Select NSP Configuration
- Select SNMP Agent Configuration
- Select OK and press enter
- Select Exit button twice
Customized configuration
SNMP configuration file (/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf) can be edited and adapted to monitoring platform needs.
For example, adding a second trapsess line will allow to send traps to a second monitoring system.
A restart of TKLCsnmp service is required to take changes into account.
