Goal

Confusing output from upgrade script
Output:
E5-MS RPM upgrade is in progress...
current_version: 450.33.0
Installed OCEEMS rpm version: 450
Current rpm version is less than MySql5.6 upgrade release.
MySql version prior to release 5.6 found, OCEEMS data needs to be backed up for compatibility changes.
Mysql daemon not running, Explicitly starting MySql.
nohup: redirecting stderr to stdout
Mysql daemon started.
Shutting down mysqld.
MySql data successfully backed up at /var/upgrade/Backup_450.33.0/MySql_Backup.sql
Invoking mysql backup.
OCEEMS encountered MySql release change, backing up mysql directory to /var/upgrade/Backup_450.33.0/mysql
No mysql backup directory found.
mysql backup completed.
Older rpm version 450.33.0
MySQL daemon not running.

Backup seems to be successful but there still is an error about “No mysql backup directory found”

Solution

Bug 21832884 created.
Resolution/Fix Release: TBD
This will be fixed in a TBD release. There is no error during the upgrade, just a message that should eventually be removed/changed.
