Goal

It is important to scrub storage pools on a ZFS Storage Appliance regularly.

This document explains how to start a scrub on a ZFS Storage appliance in order to verify content and check for errors.

Solution

In the BUI

Navigate to Configuration > Storage and select the appropriate pool.

Click "SCRUB" to start the scrub.

 

In the CLI

Select the appropriate pool

CLI> configuration storage set pool=pool1

 

Start the scrub

CLI> configuration storage scrub start
