How to install and use sendmail-cf on Exalytics "X" series server (i.e. X3-4, on Linux)?

Solution

The sendmail.cf file is installed by default on Exalytics bare metal servers and is located in the directory /etc/mail.
You can verify by running the following command as the "root" user:

# ls -alh /etc/mail

NOTE: Above directory contents were verified on an Exalytics PS5 bare metal server. If your Exalytics server uses a different Patchset level, the directory contents may be different.
