Solution
Estimated Time: 15 minutes
To reset a drive from the Web GUI on the SL150 please follow the steps below:
- Access the SL150 Web GUI by entering the IP address or host name into a Web Browser.
- Log into the SL150 Web GUI with an admin user.
- Once you are logged into the Web GUI click on "Drives" tab on the main menu to the left hand side of the main SL150 library page.
- Once you are at the drives page click on the drive that you need to reset.
- Then click on the "Actions" button above the drives listing and a drop down will appear.
- From the drop down click on the "Restart Drive" option.
- A dialogue window will pop up asking you to verify that you do want to reset the drive. If it is the bridge drive a note will be listed stating that resetting the bridge drive will cause you to lose access to the library from the host.
- Verify again that it is the drive that you want to reset and click on "OK" from the dialogue window.
- The drive will then reset or restart and you can see in the activity monitor at the top of the Web GUI page when the reset or restart is complete.
