Goal
Some Message Processors (MP) are showing Event ID 19800 Communication Agent Connection Down.
Solution
The correction for this is to restart the Communication connection which can be done from either the NOAM or SOAM.
- GUI Main Menu -> Communication Agent -> Maintenance -> Connection Status
- Click on the MP that is experiencing the alarm to open the connections.
- Click on the associated MP where the Connection Status is Forming
- Disable and Enable this connection.
