Goal

Alarms not received after a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes on E5MS GUI Event Viewer.
User needs to re-login.
 

Solution

Perform following steps on E5MS:

1. Go to path /Tekelec/WebNMS/conf and look for file clientparameters.conf
2. Modify the parameter “ALLOWED_IDLE_TIME_BEFORE_LOCKOUT” and “ALLOWED_IDLE_TIME_BEFORE_TERMINATION” to 999.

[root@e5ms]# more clientparameters.conf

3. Restart the e5msService

Perform following on the client machine (from which user connects to E5MS GUI)

1. Clear Browser History and any cookies
2. Search for WebNMS.jnlp file on the client system and delete them so that next time user tries to login to E5MS; a new jnlp file is prompted for download.
3. Restart the E5MS GUI
