Goal
We recently have upgraded our ACME Packet SBC to firmware S-CZ7.2.0.
We wanted to know if these procedure is correct or do you have any suggestion on how to properly proceed with the upgrade.
Also, now that we have our AP SBC upgraded, is there any other additional steps need to be done and/or will our Product License be carried over to this updated firmware?
Solution
1: about new firmware version, the latest firmware is 720m4, so I suggest you to upgrade that version.
and firmware name is not matched.
the correct name is nnSCZ720m4.32.bz
please check again and fix them.
2: you need to upload boot file also.
in zipped firmware file, there are 2 files are exist.
one is nnSCZ720m4.32.bz
the other is nnSCZ720m4.32.boot
please also check maintenance and trouble shooting guide.
see P.292 "Update the Stage 3 Boot Loader and System Image" part.
