Tools Needed:
#1 Phillips screwdriver -- Needed if you are unable to loosen the tool-less thumbscrews that hold the FBN into the FSB.

WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? :

1. Follow safety and ESD precautions.

2. From the front, locate the node corresponding to the location of the FBS PCB you are replacing. Either slide the node out about 3-4 inches, or remove the node completely.

3. From the rear of the modular system:
  a. Remove the FBS cover.
  b. Disconnect the cables that are connected to the PCB.
  c. Loosen the two thumb screws on the PCB.
  d. Remove the PCB.
  e. Install the replacement PCB.
  f. Tighten the two thumb screws on the PCB.
  g. Connect the cables to the replacement PCB.
  h. Replace the FBS cover.

4. Install the node into the corresponding slot.

5. Use the system management software to configure the PCB and boot the node  (i.e. use mgmt. sw to power on the node)

6. Reboot the FMM
