Goal

How to filter out non-CAMEL SSNs (SubSystem Number) from the INAP session?

Solution

By default, intermediate builder "SS7 SCCP" when filtering data for INAP interfaces (for example, for SS7 INAP TDR builder) is allowing to pass through the main CAP SSN 146 as well as INAP SSN 241 and some other related SSNs.

If there is a requirement to have only a certain particular SSN, such filtering can be additionally configured on intermediate builder level.

To do so, log into CCM, go to Mediation->IXP->Dataflow Processings. Open related Build DFP for editing, go to last step "Parameters", tab "SS7 SCCP".

In "Specific parameters" part for the parameter "Filter = Accept source SSN to sink SSN" set the desired source and destination SSNs. For example, if CAMEL and CAMEL will be set, only PDUs with SSN 146 will be sent to final builder level.

Note that this change will affect all final level builders that are part of the same Build DFP, so if in example above we had in addition to INAP builder MAP builder, such MAP builder will not be receiving any PDUs.
