Goal

Is it possible to modify the MTU size in Eagle STPs?

Solution

MTU is determined based on path MTU discovery and controled by ICMP. The Eagle will always try to adjust back to maximum path MTU which is 1500 bytes. When the path MTU is constrained or reduced, the Eagle expects an ICMP packet from the part of the path where it is reduced to tell Eagle what the new path MTU is. In other words this is automatically adjusted by Eagle.
