Goal

Following a drive replacement the new disk may display a 'Foreign' status.

Solution

 

  1. Right click on the System Alert for the Foreign Disk Drive under the Monitor tab in GUI and select 'Manage System Alert'.
  2. Check the box for 'Accept Foreign Drive' and click OK.
