Goal

Enabling OSI NeTech stack traces in LSMS

Solution

How to enable OSI NeTech stack traces in LSMS

1.       Start operator application
2.       In the operator application, load the stack application  (this sometimes happens automatically, but is not always the case)
3.       Turn debug on
4.       Collect traces
5.       Once Finished, stop trace collection
6.       Turn debug off
7.       Exit

The commands to be executed are as follows:

1. ./opesk6
2. $load osisk6 psk6 Fsk6   (This starts the stack application)
3. debug on
4. $log on /tmp/trace.log
5. $log off
6. debug off
7. $exit

Note:  Execute step 2 only if you do not observe the message "*** Received ADM_CNF from STACK psk6" when the operator starts. This line indicates that the stack application has been successfully started.

Look into /tmp/trace.log for the trace logs of osi stack.
