Goal

This document outlines the cause and solution to a known scenario wherein the NNC Displays an error, "no support for configuration, performance or faults," after upgrading the Session Border Controller (SBC) to 6.4.0.

Solution

From NNC 7.4 Release notes, found here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E54515_01/doc/sdm_74_releasenotes.pdf
you can see that some releases, e.g. SCX640m6p1, are not officially supported yet by NNC 7.4.

The ones supported already are found under Device Releases Supported ... SCX6.4.0, SCX6.4.0M1, SCX6.4.0M2, SCX6.4.0M3, SCX6.4.0M4

You will need a patch applied to NNC, for the system to operate properly. Disclaimer: one-off Oracle Server patches are not subject to the same rigorous level of testing as done for Oracle Server patch sets. Customers are encouraged to install and test patch provided in a test environment prior to full production implementation.
