Goal

Using SMU for an Oracle database, the 1Gb interface is used instead of the 10Gb interface.

Solution

If there are multiple interfaces, SMU will chose the non-admin interface over admin interface.

Make sure the following is true :

  • - The  1Gb interface is the only one flagged as admin.
  • - The 10Gb interface is not flagged as admin.
  • - The multihoming property is set to adaptive on ZFSSA side.
