usage and quota data may remain

Goal

How can I delete the reference to a share user which is no longer valid?

Solution

In this example, the 'testshare' share has been moved or deleted, but usage and quota data for the associated users remains:

7320-a-head-1:shares (pool-0) Test-Proj/testshare users> show
Users:

USER        NAME                          USAGE    QUOTA
user-001   test1                            -             1T
user-001   test2                            -             1T

In order to remove a reference like one of those above, it is necessary to delete the quota associated with the user.

Using the above as an example, simply select the user, set the associated quota to zero and commit the change.

The user and associated quota are then removed from the list.
