Description

Message ID: SPX86A-8000-8G indicates that the ILOM fault manager has applied diagnosis to error reports
received and determined a malfunctioning component has been detected by the Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD).

System power is not available due to a malfunctioning component.

Automated Response

The chassis wide service-required LED is illuminated.

Impact

The system is unable to power-on.

C) Please follow the Below Action Plan :
---> The first action to perform is to clear this error (the Host should restart)


1.) Connect to ilom by ssh (ssh@ilom_ip_address)
enter user and password

2.) clear the fault
-> set /SYS/MB clear_fault_action=true
Are you sure you want to clear /SYS/MB (y/n)? y
Set 'clear_fault_action' to 'true'

3,) Start the system from ilom
-> start /SYS

4.) confirm the host is restarting

Solution

issue fixed by replacing the Motherboard
