Solution 1996113.1 : E5MS :: Stop Alarm Reporting To E5MS After Switch Off STP.

Goal

Customer is going to switch off STP, he requests to stop alarms being received at the E5-MS platform from that STP but still wishes to be able to connect via the Command Management Interface (to send commands to the STP).

Solution

To Stop receiving alarms from Eagle; perform following steps:
1. In E5MS GUI Click Tools
2. In drop down menu; click Eagle Discovery
3. In Eagle Discovery; click the required STP
4. Check the IPSM Terminal used for EMSALM
5. Login to Eagle and run following command:

chg-trm:trm=xx:all=no

where xx is the terminal number for EMSALM found from above step

After this; no new alarms will be sent from Eagle to E5MS.
