SolutionDISPATCH INSTRUCTIONS WHAT SKILLS ARE REQUIRED?: No special skills required, Customer Replaceable Unit (CRU) procedure TASK COMPLEXITY: 0 TIME ESTIMATE: 15 minutes HOT replacement REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS: WHAT STATE SHOULD THE SYSTEM BE IN TO BE READY TO PERFORM THE RESOLUTION ACTIVITY? : N/A WHAT ACTIONS ARE REQUIRED?: Removing a Power Cord Caution
1. Document which chassis (CMIOU chassis or Switch Chassis) and which exact AC input socket you are going to disconnect the power cord from. 2. Document which PDU (Right or Left) and which exact PDU AC output socket you are going to disconnect the power cord from. 3. Disconnect the power cord from the PDU socket. 4. Disconnect the power cord from the Chassis socket. 5. Remove the power cord.
Installing a Power cord 1. Connect the power cord to the singe free Chassis AC input socket. 2 Connect the power cord to the single free PDU AC output socket
WHAT ACTIONS ARE NEEDED TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO AN OPERATIONAL STATE: 1. Verify that the fault has been cleared and the replaced component is operational 2. Verify that the Power OK LED is lit, and that the Fault LED and front and rear Service Required LEDs are not lit. 3. Verify that there is no faulty components
4. Perform one of the following tasks based on your verification results
