Goal

How can I use the ping command to ping enum servers?

Given the server is configured as follows:

  topLevelDomain='xxyy.com'
  realmId='xx-y'
  timeout='11'
  cacheInactivityTimer='3600'
  lookupLength='0'
  maxResponseSize='512'
  serviceType='E2U+PSTN:SIP E2U+sip'
  queryMethod='hunt'
  healthQueryNumber=''
  healthQueryInterval='0'
  failoverTo=''
  cacheAddlRecords='enabled'
  includeSourceInfo='disabled'
  isRetarget='enabled'
  recursiveQuery='disabled'
  options=''

Solution

You can use the general ping commands to check the ping status.

ACME4500#Ping (enum server ip)

For example:

ACME4500#ping (IP address)

If you want to ping from a particular network interface then:

ACME4500#Ping (enum server ip) (interface id)

For example:

ACME4500#ping (IP address) M00:0
