Goal

UAM 0422 Insufficient extended memory observed for DSM card

Solution

Run Following command:

rept-stat-trbl:display=timestamp

This will show Hardware error code for UAM 0422 which is 59 in this case:

6443.0422 ** CARD 1111 SCCPHC Insufficient extended memory
HW VERIFICATION CODE: 059

The error code 0059 shows that DSM card is unable to handle LRN or NPANXX entries.

From the rept-stat-card; this is a 2GB DSM card with a capacity of 300,000 NPANXXs.

Solution is to replace card with better memory card.
After replacement with 4 GB card; the alarm is cleared as seen in rept-stat-trbl
