Applies to:

Oracle Communications Performance Intelligence Center (PIC) Software - Version 7.1 to 9.0.4 [Release 7.0 to 9.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In PIC 9.x, is it possible to handle more than 20 Streams per IMF server ?

Solution

Regarding the specs from PIC 9.x, the limit is 20 supported streams.

This limitation comes from the xMF.

Possible options to expand limit are:

  1. Upgrade to PIC 10.1 for better performance and increased limit of 40 connections
  2. Add new server to IMF subsystem to load balance distribute parts of the streams.
