Goal

The purpose of this document is to show how to find software and firmware patches for the Oracle FS1-2 system in My Oracle Support (MOS).

Solution

NOTE: See Document 1967797.1 FS System: How to Download Software and Firmware Updates for the FS1-2 for the current recommended version. If that version differs from what is listed below, substitute the recommended version in its place.

Log into your account at the My Oracle Support customer portal and select the Patches & Updates tab.
If you know the patch number, use the Simple search option, enter the patch number and then Search.
If you do not know the patch number, use the Product or Family Advanced search option.
Begin by typing Flash in the Product box and a pop-up window will give you the option to select Oracle FS1-2 Flash Storage System.
Using the pull-down menu in the Release box and check boxes for the version(s) of software you want to download. and then Search.
When the search finds the patch and its classification is "General" click on the patch number. If the classification is "Controlled", the patch is not available for general distribution and needs Oracle Engineering approval to obtain a password to download. Contact Oracle support for further assistance.
To begin the download process, click on the Download button.
Then click on the Download All button.
Save the patch in the desired location.
