Sometimes the system keys are lost by customers.
The keys on equal systems types are normally the same.
So you can use a key from an equal system to switch the key position on the OPNL or open the door (M8/9000 only).

Goal

How can I get a new system key if it is lost?

Solution

there are  2 options:

1) Order a new OPNL and use the included key.  Dispose of the unused OPNL components

If the server is an M3000 - System keys are included with Operator Panel: 541-3306 [F]

If the server is an M4000 or M5000 - System keys are included with Operator Panel to Keyswitch Cable: 530-3415 [F]

If the server is an M8000 or M9000 - System keys are included with Operator Panel: 371-2239 [F]

2) use a key of another system from the same Productline/type (details see below)

The keys for the M3000 is unique to those systems and is the same for all systems.
They are interchangeable between them.

This is valid  for late RR systems and all GA systems
Early RR M3000s used the same key as the prototype M8000, M9000 OPNL

The keys for the M4000 and M5000 is unique to those systems and is the same for all systems.
They are interchangeable between them.

The OPNL key is unique to the M8000 and M9000 OPNL
They are not interchangeable between them
The door keys are the same for all doors on all M8000 and M9000 systems.
