/var directory is 100% utilized

Solution

Enter: df -hk

If 100% utilization is observed, Perform the following steps:

cd /var/mail

ls -al

If file named netboss or root are in GBs

Zip the file:

To zip a file named "netboss" in directory /var/mail

zip -r /var/mail/netboss.zip netboss

To clean mails from /var/mail/netboss
login as root user:
# > /var/mail/netboss

# > /var/mail/root
