Goal

How to update Belisarius card firmware on IBM LTO4/5/6 drives in SL500/3000/8500 libraries.

Solution

1. Download latest Belcode to the laptop being used. (current: 4.17.18.36 MOS Patch: 145727-06)

2. Install LTO VOP on your laptop (Install CSE Multi drive VOP 2.2 from SAC).

3. Connect to the Drive tray Encryption port(defaul IP 10.0.0.1).

4. Go to the 'service drive' tab for code update.

5. Click the "Load 4.x firmware" icon.
